10 most ridiculous things that happened when In-N-Out came to Dublin

September 18th: the day a burger took over Dublin.

EARLIER TODAY, LEGENDARY burger chain In-N-Out set up a pop-up shop on Dublin’s Millenium Walkway.

Unfortunately it was only there for a brief time, but for a few glorious hours, Dubliners were able to get their mitts on the delicious burgers.

And as you might expect, we all lost the run of ourselves.

1. As word began to peter out that In-N-Out was among us, hundreds of Dubliners flocked to the Millenium Walkway

Look at the bleeding queue.

2. And soon, the media joined them.

“Live for Channel 6 News…”

3. Things got so hectic that they had to issue wristbands.

Burger wristbands. A thing, apparently.

4. One person even sold their wristband for 50 big ones.

Let’s recap: a person spent €50 on a wristband that would allow them to buy a burger.

5. And this guy parted with €35 all for the privilege of sinking their teeth into one of the burgers.

6. Oh, did we mention it sold out in less than two hours?

We’re a hungry lot.

7. Some people even bought t-shirts to commemorate the experience.

8. Rival burger joints even benefitted from the mania.

Including Wowburger.

And Rick’s.

9. Did we mention the acts of sheer savagery?

“I sucked the f**king wrapper.”

10. Needless to say, the campaign to bring them back has already started…

Happy Burger Day, Dublin!
